A second program that I created this year was a free arts curriculum that is easy to implement, uses common and/or low-cost materials, and can be customized to meet the needs of any program. The program is designed for ease of delivery in underserved communities and populations, empowering a variety of community actors—from church volunteers to extension agents to librarians—with the materials and tools needed to implement hands-on, arts-based activities for children ages 3 to 12.
