“Mountain Women Mean Business” was a conference that brought together women seeking to begin or expand businesses in the creative economy of Southeastern Kentucky. The conference featured industry-specific panels led by experienced businesses women along with workshops led by CDFI’s and technical assistance providers in the region. It also included a youth component, involving all of the female members of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) in the hosting county. In all, over 100 attended.
