The Lee County Extension Service staff along with the Extension Council placed a major focus on increasing the number of participants that was attending 4-H camp. In 2017 we had 12 campers, in 2018 we had 42 campers. The 250 percent increase was due to the extra promotion and the council paying the full expense for the campers. These 42 campers learned many life skills during their 4 day stay a camp. 21 of the campers had never stayed away from their parents or guardian over night before going to camp.
