Utilizing the LEAP (Literacy, Eating and Activity for Preschoolers) curriculum through 9 sessions over the course of 18 weeks, the children improved their nutritional knowledge and were able to more readily identify individual food groups, as well as how to differentiate healthy snacks from unhealthy foods.
