Outcome: Initial Outcome

Hickman County Farmer's Market has been in operation now for a full year. Bringing locally produced foods to our community, this market has become heavily utilized. Not only is the market been used for "market hours", but it has been utilized for educational programming for the youth and many other community based events as well.  Opening Day of Market

Farmers Market Celebration


On June 30, Hickman County Extension Office hosted a Farmers Market Celebration at the Hickman County Farmers Market at Rotary Park. Over 350 people were in attendance. This celebration highlighted the local goods that were available in Hickman County. Many vendors set up to sell their goods. In addition, the Clinton-Hickman County Chamber of Commerce set up to fund raise for the local mural that will be displayed in our community. The local FFA members served lunch to visitors at the market. Rotary Park Committee prepared the lunch and facilitated the event.
