Outcome: Initial Outcome

Jefferson County presented Keys to Embracing Aging to 98 participants. On average, participants were 72 years old. As a result of the program, 80 participants reported a better understanding of how current lifestyle behaviors affect future health and well-being. Specifically, 85 participants reported aspirations to better embrace a positive attitude. 80 participants reported the need to be healthier eaters and79 declared the need stay on top of their health numbers. 72 participants plan to increase physical activity, 70 mental activity, and 50 social activity. 98 participants recognize the need to practice safety and 55 intend to tune-in to the times. 70 participants anticipate practicing stress management, 75 getting financial affairs in order, 92 getting more quality sleep, and 90 taking a timeout for themselves. 90 participants better understand how lifestyle behaviors and choices are integrated.
