Egg My Yard Fundraiser Hatches Big Success for 4-H Teen Council
The McCracken County 4-H Teen Council recently organized a heartwarming and successful fundraiser, aptly named "Egg My Yard." This initiative not only brought joy to local families during the Easter holiday weekend but also raised over $850 to support the council's upcoming trip to Disney World for Disney's Imagination Campus program.
The fundraiser involved 20 orders, which were efficiently managed by two dedicated groups. Each group consisted of two adults and two or three enthusiastic teen council members. Together, they distributed Easter eggs to the yards of participating families, providing a delightful surprise for children and a much-needed stress relief for parents during the busy holiday weekend.
The success of the Egg My Yard fundraiser is a testament to the hard work and community spirit of the 4-H Teen Council members. By offering this unique service, they not only spread Easter cheer but also made significant strides towards their goal of reducing the cost of the Disney trip for each attending member.
This initiative highlights the power of community engagement and the positive impact that young leaders can have. The funds raised will help ensure that all McCracken County 4-H Teen Council members can participate in the enriching experiences offered by Disney's Imagination Campus program, fostering creativity, teamwork, and leadership skills.
The Egg My Yard fundraiser is a shining example of how a simple idea, driven by dedication and teamwork, can bring about meaningful change and support the aspirations of our youth. We look forward to seeing the continued success and growth of our 4-H Teen Council members as they embark on their exciting journey to Disney World this Fall.
