Describe the Issue or Situation
Working with the local recovery center on raised bed gardens has been challenging due to lack of water availability at the center.
Describe the Outreach or Educational Program Response (and Partners, if applicable).
Participants at the recovery center constructed a self wicking raised bed to grow vegetables for use at the center. Participants gained skills on using tools. as well as how to construct and maintain the raised bed.
