A gardening lunch and learn series was conducted at the Hopkins County Extension Office over the course of three months.  The series included the following classes: Vegetable Abiotic Disorders, Vegetable Diseases, and Vegetable Pests.  The purpose of the series was to help gardeners identify and learn how to manage and control various vegetable ailments.  A survey was conducted at the end of each class.  Based on the survey results, 100% of the participants stated that they would take what they learned from the classes and apply it to their own lives, and 95% of the participants increased their knowledge of vegetable ailments from taking the classes.  Finally, 100% of the participants were interested in attending more gardening classes and workshops at the extension office in the future.
