The Kentucky Extension Homemakers Association (KEHA) is a volunteer organization that works to improve the quality of life for families and communities through leadership development, volunteer service, and education. The origins of KEHA can be traced to the beginning of the 20th century. Through the years, the organization has grown to become an extensive network of over 11,000 women sharing information that would make their domestic lives easier including home economics, new technologies and goods, agricultural skills, food conservation and preservation, and domestic skills.

Trigg County Homemaker membership has, unfortunately, declined greatly since the Covid-19 outbreak in 2020. According to the membership reports there were 127 members in Trigg County in 2028-2019. In the 2022-2023 reports, there were only 57 homemakers in Trigg County.

The Trigg County Homemakers have been spreading the word and inviting others to the programs and meetings. As of 2024, they have grown from 57 to 83 members. As the Trigg County Homemakers continue to spend countless hours dedicating their time to community service, their membership numbers will continue to rise. They are making a lasting impact on our community.
