Author: Raul Villanueva

Planning Unit: Entomology

Major Program: Grains

Outcome: Intermediate Outcome

I participated in the main extension events that took place at the University of Kentucky-Research and Education Center at Princeton (UK-REC). In the UK-REC all the extension programs are in a recovery period after the devastating effects of the tornado of 2021 that destroyed all the center installations. In these events, there were a total of 329 attendees. Also, I had been on outreach programs for adults and children at Land Between the Lakes and at Fort Campell, there was an attendance of at least 950 people.

For more descriptive numbers of attendees and credit numbers, see below:

  • Winter Wheat Meeting on 02/01/24, Attendance 120 (16 female), 3 CCA CEU, 3 Pesticide CEU
  • Wheat Field Day on 05/14/24, Attendance: 56 attended (11 female), 2 CCA CEUs, 1 pesticide CEU
  • Corn, Soybean & Tobacco on 07/23/24, Attendance: 153 people (37 female), 5.5 CCA CEU, 3 PAT CEU
