Outcome: Intermediate Outcome
More than 250 senior adults learned the importance of exercising daily to keep their body fit at the Senior Fitness Day. Exercises that every adult could accomplish were introduced to the citizens. Senior adults were also informed of the importance of exercising daily to keep their muscles and body limber and help in walking and maneuvering in daily life. They were also invited to participate in a 1 mile walk, to see how little time it took to walk for one mile. Hopefully the senior adults will take this information home with them and will continue to exercise daily and walk at least three times a week
