Outcome: Intermediate Outcome

As part of my extension program with small and backyard poultry owners, I have increased my online presence to reach as many people as possible. We reach poultry owners around the country, as well as around the world. I have two main websites I created and manage – one is for eXtension and the small and backyard flock community of practice - https://poultry.extension.org. It has articles, links to upcoming and past webinars, a blog, and the Ask-Extension widget. It gets over 60,000 visitors each month. The second website I manage is the poultry section of the Animal and Food Science Department's website - https://afs.ca.uky.edu/poultry. It gets over 15,000 visitors each month. To accompany each of the websites, I have associated Facebook pages. The eXtension Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/poultryextension – has 1.7K followers.  The department's Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/KentuckyPoultry/ - has  1K followers. I have also done several webinars for both sites, with monthly webinars for eXtension. All the webinars are recorded and uploaded to YouTube. The eXtension YouTube channel has 5.58K subscribers with the number of viewings for each past webinar increasing monthly. There are currently 114 videos of past eXtension webinars. During COVID we started holding monthly Kentucky-specific webinars and there are 16 videos uploaded to that YouTube channel with 171 subscribers.
