Outcome: Long-Term Outcome
For the past five years, the Licking River Area Family and Consumer Science agents have successfully organized the Leadership Training Day for area Homemakers, held twice annually. This impactful event serves the Homemakers from the ten counties in the Licking River area, reaching a total of 657 members.
Each Leadership Training Day offers three comprehensive lessons designed to be taken back and shared within the Homemakers' respective counties and clubs. The sessions cover a diverse array of educational subjects, ensuring that participants gain valuable knowledge and skills applicable to their daily lives and communities. To facilitate easy access and participation, the location of the training rotates among the counties, with a fall session in August and a spring session in February.
By empowering Homemakers with these educational lessons, the Leadership Training Day fosters leadership, community engagement, and continuous learning among participants. This program exemplifies the commitment of the Licking River Area Family and Consumer Science agents to enhancing the quality of life in their communities through education and collaboration. The enduring success and positive impact of these training days underscore their vital role in the enrichment and development of the Homemaker network across the ten counties.
