Members form each organization help to cook and serve the lunches and raise awareness of local farmers and agriculture organizations.
Six hundred meals are served this day and each individual is exposed to agriculture in our community. Kentucky Cattleman’s beef solution burger is served for lunch. The goal of this program is to highlight agriculture and its organizations to school members and share our story of impact in community. Since the program began 2 years ago we have seen an increase in cooperation with our schools to highlight agriculture and partner with classrooms for ag programs.
