Major Program: Community Strategic Planning

Plan of Work: Empowering Community Leaders

Outcome: Intermediate Outcome

Groundbreaking Ceremony held in mid-December for the new Hardin County Cooperative Extension Service Office Building located in the Kentucky Heartland Agricultural Complex.  Event attended by some 75 local, regional and statewide officials.  Local Extension leaders, State Senator, representative from Governor's Office and County Government all made comments.  Afterwards a luncheon/reception held at the current Extension Office building hosted by the County Extension District Board.  This over $10 million dollar project involves a Livestock Events Center and Extension Office complex.
