Planning Unit: Mason County CES
Major Program: Camping
Plan of Work: Youth Development
Outcome: Initial Outcome
With the help of local homemaker clubs and support of 4-H Council I was able to offer scholarships for 17 campers to attend 4-H Camp. With this support and support from Mason County District board, I was able to increase Mason County's bed count for 4-H camp to 91 spots setting a record for Mason County camping numbers a third year in a row. By introducing new campers to 4-H this as also already increased new participation in other programs by youth whom attended camp.
