The Wits Workout program, with it's structured approach to focusing on different aspects of brain health each month, has made a significant impact on our community by promoting brain health and the importance of socialization. This innovative program, in partnership with Illinois Extension who provided the trainings for this program, which focuses on different aspects of cognitive well-being each month, has been met with enthusiasm and positive feedback from participants. Over two sessions at our initial location, we have engaged a consistent group of 8 individuals each time, all of whom have reported finding the activities both enjoyable and intellectually stimulating. Participants have highlighted how the program challenges them to think critically and use their brains in new ways. The success at this location has fueled our ambition to expand Wits Workout to 2 or 3 more locations, broadening its reach and benefit. Expanding the program to 2 or 3 more locations has the potential to reach a wider audience and further enhance the benefits of Wits Workout for individuals seeking to improve brain health and social engagement. By fostering both mental agility and social connections, Wits Workout is helping to create a vibrant, engaged, and healthier community.
