There are so many resources available to assist producers in making modifications to their operations. These resources can come in the form of education and financial assistance. But where are these resources available and what steps do producers need to take to get them? These are the questions that the Farm Services night program was able to answer.

There are times I will receive phone calls at the office and the producer will need assistance from another entity other than the Extension Office. This is what sparked the idea for Farm Service Night. Representatives from the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resource and Conservation Office, and the Extension Office were asked to attend and present on the services they offered and what a timeline for each of those services looked like.

There were 15 producers in attendance. Each producer completed a survey following the presentations and question session. 100% of the participants said they now feel like they have a better understanding of which office to contact for their questions and that they learned about a resource they weren't aware was available to them.
