Ballard County FCS agent graduated from the inaugural Leadership West Kentucky class in May of 2023. Head Coordinator for Leadership West Kentucky was Mrs. Sandra Wilson. She is also the coordinator for Leadership Paducah, she had asked Ballard County FCS agent if she would be an informational session over Manners and Etiquette to Leadership Paducah class 37 in September of 2023. Research shows that manners and etiquette are important and beneficial especially as we interact and build strong relationships. People with good manners express compassion and respect. Using your manners will help you develop communication skills, interact with people and build a good rapport. FCS agent taught 44 individuals a thirty-minute session over manners and etiquette. 100% of participants said that this was a great refresher and they learned new information. Four months later, FCS agent received an email from one of the class members stating that they are still using tips from the lesson. ‘Thank you for your presentation on etiquette to our Leadership Paducah class back in September. You would be surprised how many times your lesson has resurfaced as we participate in various breakfast and lunch events. Thank you for taking the time to come speak with us.’
