Project GATeWAY (Grants Administration Transformation as the Way Forward)

Author: Edwin Ritchey

Planning Unit: Plant and Soil Sciences

Major Program: Administrative Functions

Outcome: Initial Outcome

I was contacted by the UK Vice President for research, Dr. Lisa Cassis, to be one of only three faculty members to help identify issues related to OSPA, RFA and general grant processes at UK. We met multiple times with Deloitte Consulting Services to discuss current processes, obstacles, and potential solutions to improve pre- and post- grant award service from UK OSPA and RFS. It is with great hope that grant many processes will improve for researchers and funding agencies due to suggestions from this review.
