Author: Emily Spencer

Planning Unit: Agr Economics

Major Program: Small Farm Management

Outcome: Initial Outcome

In March, I launched the new program Monday Marketing Minute on the Center for Crop Diversification's Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube pages. The Monday Marketing Minute is a bite-sized informational video that teaches growers about different aspects of marketing their specialty crops. Some of the videos featured are "Pulp vs. Plastic Packaging," "Tablecloth Choices for Farmers Market Vendors," "How to Make Flyers with QR Codes that Link to your Social Media Pages," and "The Power of Providing Samples at the Farmers Market." These videos are meant to be easily digestible. Growers can choose to watch one video or an entire playlist on the CCD Youtube page. The Monday Marketing Minute videos have received 11,272 views on Youtube, 381 minutes of views on Facebook, and 4,630 views on Instagram.
