Over 130 4-H’ers and their families attended Taylor County 4-H Awards Banquet on Tuesday, November 15 at the Taylor County Extension Office.
97 individual 4-H’ers were recognized and over 150 recognition award pins were given out to honor the youth's hard work, learning and dedication to the 4-H Program through contests, clubs, events and activities throughout the previous 4-H year. Honors were giving out to our most active youth with the awards of All Stars and Superstars. These youth are involved in a variety of 4-H activities and are not one time precipitants.
During the celebration, a silent auction was held to benefit the 4-H clubs in Taylor County. Over $427 was raised.
