Outcome: Initial Outcome

Financial Management is a significant concern as families continue to struggle to make ends meet and stabilize their incomes through turbulent times.

In response to these ongoing concerns, FCS provided the opportunity for the public to participate in a six part series featuring a variety of skill building curricula targeting money management.

The curriculum "Making your Money Work" was the anchor used for the basic topics of each session, but Money Habitudes, The Credit Game, Power Pay and Small Steps to Health and Wealth were also utilized to enhance the day's message.

Eight participated in the overall series with two having 100% attendance.

Reviewing the evaluation responses following the program, the following were sample comments worth noting:

"This program has helped me to reinforce my views on spending my money and my priorities", I learned " How to organize money and forms, my spending type, and how to help save money".

Each participant suggested they intended to implement new strategies as they continued learning and were introduced to the Small Steps to Health and Wealth they could access online for future quality activities.
