Radio Spotlights

Author: Jessica James

Planning Unit: Henderson County CES

Major Program: Agriculture and Extension Leadership Development

Plan of Work: Agricultural Practices

Outcome: Intermediate Outcome

I have been doing a radio spotlight on the radio every Tuesday since the beginning of 2022 and it has been a great way for me to promote any upcoming programs or just get the name of our Extension Office out to the community so that they can understand the different things that we offer. I have talked about many different ag related topics including how the weather has an impact on crops, different management strategies, upcoming CPH sales, upcoming field days etc.. I have had many people in the community tell me that they really enjoy listening to my radio talks so I feel that it has been a great success and definitely one of the best ways for me to get information out and reach a diverse audience.
