The students met on a weekly basis ere starting with CSI where the students learned about fingperprinting, crime scence basics, DNA extraction and solving simple crimes using CSI techniques. After 6 weeks we moved on to Robotics where students learned how to code with colors using Ozobots. Ozobots are robots that useses colors to give in direction.

On February 14, 2023 Layne hosted "Love of Learning" "Showing what we know" . This event allows parents and family members to come in and see what the students have learned and what they know. The students chose to show what they learned from participating in 4-H Robotics and Crime Scene Investigations. They chose to show their parents about what they learned about fingerprints and practiced fingerprint their family member. They also shared their knowledge of coding showing off their skills with the Ozobots. The parents, teachers and Jefferson County Administrators were impressed with their work.  Kentucky State University 4-H Continues to make a huge impact in  the lives of  underserved youth through Jefferson County 4-H.
