Outcome: Long-Term Outcome
I reached out to Menifee County School Districts Alternative School teacher, Frankie Spencer. Mr. Spencer is a former substance abuse and drug prevention counselor as well as a support specialist for troubled kids. Mr. Spencer ask if I would come talk to his students, I spoke with them about current and future job opportunities. I also presented the reality store program, I walked them through the program and ask them what they new of adult life. Most students were surprised, some not. I felt the alternative school students should have an equal opportunity to learn the reality store program. I'm happy to say Menifee County 4-H reaches out to all students, mainstream and alternative now.
