Celebrate the Baby is a free, educational community event hosted by the Ohio County Family and Consumer Sciences Agent and community partners. This year, 28 attendees visited various community agency tables to learn about valuable resources within Ohio County. Participants were provided with educational material to promote healthy and safe practices for themselves and their babies. Some topics focused on breastfeeding benefits, safe sleep practices for babies, dangers of vaping during pregnancy, and post-partum care. Another great resource provided during the event was free car seat safety checks by a certified car seat technician. Five families had their car seat installed properly.
