Covid has been been documented to impact many factors of child development, since 2019.  Not only had it impacted child development it altered many delivery methods and outcomes of Bath County 4-H.  From mid 2022, planning meetings to address shortcomings, focus areas, and ways to implement programming, 4-H traditional "In School Clubs" were identified to accomplish goals set forth by this agent, school teachers, and school administration.

At the end of program year 2021, there were no "In School Clubs" formed equaling 0 youth reached through this delivery method.  By the end of program year 2022, there were only 15 "In School Clubs" formed at the middle school level, with 360 plus youth reached through this delivery method.  By the end of program year 2023, there will be 27 "In School Clubs" formed at the middle and elementary schools' level, with over 700 plus youth reached.  Through these efforts, skills development focusing on leadership, social skills, communication, teamwork, organizational, record keeping, and much more will be focused through monthly meetings.  As a result of conducting these types of clubs, 4-H Curriculum Areas will be presented to enhanced Core Content, within the schools.  Lessons from Science, Engineering, and Technology, Natural Resources, Leadership, Agriculture, Health, Family and Consumer Science, and Communication & Expressive Arts Curriculum will be introduced, at least once, during the various club meetings.
