On Friday September 9th, the Estill County Extension Office had their open house which highlighted each of the program areas in our office and the services that we provide. I had a table set up with information about Agriculture and Natural Resources. I spoke with many different people who attended and informed them of services we offer that they did not know about. Many of them said that they would be in contact with me in the future to take advantage of these services. I also gave away publications and seeds for fall gardens, which many people picked up and asked even more questions about! Overall, I was able to not only meet more people in our community, but also able to educate them on how they can use the extension office to help them be successful.
