Though the Geographic Horticulture Directory of Kentucky has been live since mid-2018, its resources have been updated periodically to reflect changes in data availability. With new data provided by the Kentucky Horticulture Council surveys this fall, the directory data for Shared Equipment and Community Kitchens reflects considerably more resources available for Kentucky growers.
With this update, the interactive map was promoted heavily at Extension agent training events and at presentations for growers in this period. As a likely result, from September 2021 - December 2021 saw an uptick of 135.8% in traffic compared with the previous period last year, with most of this traffic coming in December.
