Kentucky 4-H Achievement Program Recognizes Participants for Postive Youth Development

Since 2016, 89 counties have participated in the Achievement program.

In the past six years, a total of 2,208 youth have been recognized by the program.

150 of those youth have been recognized for having high senior-level 4-H Positive Youth Development Experiences, as Gold Achievement honorees. Kentucky 4-H and the Kentucky 4-H Foundation have been able to award over $237,500 in scholarships to attend the 4-H Teen Conference and National 4-H Congress to these Gold Achievement honorees.

Additionally, 20 senior-level members were recognized as the top 4-H members in the state over the past five years for their contribution to Positive Youth Development in their community, state, and world. Kentucky 4-H and the Kentucky 4-H Foundation have been able to award over $120,000 in college scholarships and scholarships to attend National 4-H Conference in Washington DC.
