In September 2022, 4-Her Caleb was among an elite group selected to be on the Kentucky 4-H Shotgun GOLD TEAM.  After dedicating his time to attending practices for the State Team, hard work paid off!
Caleb will be competing at the National 4-H Shooting Sports Competition as one of only FOUR youth representing the Kentucky 4-H Shotgun GOLD TEAM.  This is the first time ever Kentucky 4-H is sending a team and it's an honor to have Caleb represent 4-H and our state!
Caleb has been shooting trap recreationally and competitively for the past 8 years. He traces his origin in shooting back to the McCracken County 4-H Hot Shots where he has dedicated much of his time and talent. He recently completed the training as a certified Teen Coach for shotgun and will be assisting newer members at 4-H shooting sports practices. Caleb is also a founding member of his highschool trap team, and has been shooting for all 4 school years.  "I am excited and humbled to be representing the state of Kentucky in June at 4-H Shooting Sports Nationals and I hope to bring home a win for our state! he remarked. He has one more year left in the program and he has plans to help others learn and spark their interest in shooting even after he ages out competitively in 4-H.
