Plan of Work: Increasing life skills education and leadership excellence for youth and families
Outcome: Initial Outcome
After sacrificing their 2020 State Shoot to Covid-19 protocols, the Washington County 4-H was ready to compete against their peers across the state. In September, 20 4-H members representing Washington County traveled to compete in the State 4-H Shooting Sports competition. For 50% of our participants, this was their first State Shoot and their first state-wide experience with Kentucky 4-H. The team would go on to bring many ribbons and trophies home including a 2nd place trophy for a first year participant, two third place finishes, and a first place position. One 10 year 4-H member will wrap up his 4-H eligibility with an invitation to join the first-ever Kentucky 4-H Gold Team which will compete at the National Competition in 2022/
