Agriculture worth 48.00 each to 80 senior adults along with  recipes to prepare fresh fruits and vegetables.

Comments from participants included:

“The  recipes and vouchers are really appreciated,  it sure helps to stretch my grocery budget!”

“We loved the Farmers Market Squash Saute, great way to get my family to eat squash”.

By providing recipes and  vouchers for ingredients it was proven that families increased consumption of

vegetables and fruits which contributes to  improved diet quality  and overall better health and prevention of chronic disease in these families.
