The Kentucky Extension Homemakers organization has fostered the leadership skills of many Kentuckian over the years including one special member in Pike County. Cathy is a retired second-grade teacher and respected community member who volunteers with her small church in a remote part of the county. After retirement, Cathy joined homemakers to stay connected with adults and to find new and exciting things to do.
