Pumpkin Days 2022 was a great success. This year I helped run the pumpkin patch, where students were read a story about pumpkins, and then helped by aiding students in picking their pumpkins and navigating the pumpkin patch. During this program, students learned about the agriculture aspect of pumpkins, the process of growing them, and the health benefits of pumpkins. At this program there were 694 students present, 247 adults, and 90 workers. I hope to help with this program for years to come a

The problem-Students are very responsive to hands on activities and demonstrations, something that many times isn't possible in the classroom.The educational program response-Our Extension Office hosted our inaugural Pollinator Day to show students the importance and usefulness of bees and beekeeping. Students had the opportunity to plant flowers, try on bee suits, learn about beekeeping, and learn how to use honey in a healthy recipe. The participants/target audience-Perry Central Agri
