Interest in the traditional science fair has been declining in one of the schools. There is the age-old problem of who exactly DID the science fair exhibit that has contributed to the lack of interest to many of the students. The middle school teacher contacted the 4-H program to see how we could collaborate. Luckily the County 4-H Talk Meet had been held in the fall semester, so there were county champions designated to represent at the district event. But in March, the demonstration training had just begun. Upon the Covid changes preventing in-person meetings or events, learning techniques and practicing of 4-H demonstrations were offered via Zoom.
