Plant Camp – A Collaboration between 4-H and Horticulture

Five students ranging in age from 9 - 12 participated in a two-day Plant Camp in June at the Woodford County Extension Office. The Plant Camp was a collaborative effort with the Extension Agent for Horticulture, the Extension Agent for 4-H, and the Woodford County Extension Master Gardeners. The theme for Plant Camp 2025 was Native Pollinators, with an emphasis on symbiotic relationships where both insects and plants benefit (mutualism).
