In 2024 a needs assessment conducted by the University of Kentucky revealed that many people across our state and counties are looking for ways to improve their mental health and over wellbeing. To address the need, the Wilderness Trail Area Family and Consumer Science Agents from 8 counties (Bell, Clay, Harlan, Jackson, Knox, Laurel, Rockcastle and Whitley) hosted a needlepoint seminar to offer activities to elevate daily stress and outlets to express themselves.
