Jackson County ranks 56th in the state for number of cattle at 14,000 head and 58th in cash sales from cattle at $5,745,000, making cattle 58% of Jackson County’s agriculture revenue. With this many producers and cattle in Jackson County, a need for an Artificial insemination certification class developed.
