In 2016, the Gallatin County Family Resource center conducted a survey to teachers and found 27% of Gallatin children are being raised by someone other than their parents. Some feel the number has increased since that survey. GrandLove support group was formed. The GrandLove mission is to identify families who are raising children other than their own and offer support by providing resources developed through partnerships with concerned community members.
