Major Program: Logging Training and Professional Education
The UK Forestry Department coordinated with the Master Loggers Program for loggers to receive their required 6 hours continuing education across the state at participating offices. 22 loggers from the Knox and surrounding counties came to the Knox County Extension Office to participate, get their required hours and update their Master Logger cards.

On February 6, 2018 UK Forestry Extension broadcast a live Logger Web TV Program to 25 counties strategically distributed around the state, from the Webcast studio in the Forestry Extension Office. Assistance from the county agents and supporting staff was critical to the success of this program.
