SET Engagement

The Johnson County Extension Council identified offering local options for acquiring life skills as a program priority for the 2018-2019 Plan of Work. To address this need, local schools, teachers and extension personnel worked together to provide an opportunity in the area of Science, Technology and Engineering for local students. For the past few years free workshops called Science Discovery and Biotechnology Basics were offered to elementary students in grades 4-6 at the Johnson County Extens
