Providing commercial pesticide training to Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana tri- state residents is a priority for the Boone County Extension Horticulture Program. Misapplication of pesticides and fertilizers has lasting health and pollution effects. Recertification requirements for commercial applicators guarantees their having to attend regular update meetings. Getting pertinent topics addressed at these meetings is a priority.
