Success Stories
Pesticide Applicator Training on the Farm

A local farm wanted to have some of their workers trained in pesticide application. The farm business manager contacted ANR Agent Dee Heimgartner about providing private pesticide applicator training to the workers. The two decided it would be easier for the agent to do the training at the farm. The agent was able to train 15 workers on pesticide safety, personal protective equipment, sprayer calibrations and proper cleaning of spray equipment.
