The Kids Count Data Center reports that in 2018 there were 122 reports of child abuse/neglect in Carlisle County. These numbers have been exponentially climbing over the past few years. With the emphasis on children doing well in school, it is often forgotten that learning actually begins long before a child is old enough to enroll in an official school setting. Children under the age of 5 are in a constant state of information intake.
