According to a report from The American Policy Youth Forum in Washington, DC in 2006, the importance of programs offered during out-of-school time (such as before-school, after-school, summer, and weekend) cannot be overemphasized. These programs provide youth with opportunities to enrich their lives with diverse, valuable activities that go beyond their classroom experiences. Yoga for Kids

4-H Yoga for Kids is a fun and noncompetitive way to be physically active. It supports the goal of equipping youth and families to achieve optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being.
