The problemAccording to the CDC, in the United States, unintentional injury is the fourth leading cause of death among infants, and the top cause of death in children aged 1-17; firearms are a leading injury method. Mishandling of firearms are associated with risk for unintentional injuries and deaths among children and adolescents.
