Teen Cuisine with a Little GardeningDuring the pandemic we had to pivot our traditional learning from in-person to virtual. Working with Greater Joy Homeschool Co-op the Kenton County Nutrition Program Assistant was able to teach a six-part Teen Cuisine series with lessons such as You Are What You Eat, Find the Fat, and Watch Out for Added Sugars. The group excited about the recipes they got to experiment with inside the Teen Cuisine workbook, they also showed interest in gardening.
